What recipes do you use canned tomatoes in?
I use them in cooking, mostly in various crockpot stews.
I always have the intent to can tomatoes but they never last long enough. I usually end up making a few smaller batches of tomatoes sauce and eat that up just as fast :-)
Home made tomato sauce is a really good way to use the tomatoes!
Photos are great recipe writing is great enough but I m surprised what's the hammer doing near stove!!!

A lot of tools end up in weird places in the greenhouse. That seemed like as good of a place to put the hammers as any at the time. :-)
Nice !!!! i have been thinking about how to do this and now i know :) imma be gettin hella into jarring and canning in the near future for sure.
i used canned tomato's for heaps of meals myself lasagna, chili con carne, various pasta meals, burritos and so much more :) when we go shopping we buy racks of diced tomato's to keep in the cupboard.

Yes, I use the canned tomatoes for a lot of my cooking also. I usually can as much as I can get from my garden, that way I don't have to buy them. At least that's the plan, and it's been working for the past couple of years.
i aspire to have the same kind of set up happenin, its great as the food you grow don't go to waste and you know its hella better than the crap you buy at the stores. there are some mason jars in the pantry just waiting to be used for this. definitely keep posting this kind of info, very useful.
