Garden Finds - Creative Gardening

For some people there is simply no end to their creativity, and finding a way to set that creativity to good use is always interesting.

I recently came across these lovely hand cast garden planting pots, made in resemblance to some vintage Volkswagen vehicles. In order for these pots to be cast, first a hand made sculpture of the final product is made, this is then cast over with silicon in order to make the mold. Once the mold is made, these pots are then hand cast using a cement mixture, then once dry each pot is meticulously finished off then painted by hand.

Other really beautiful garden planting pot art that was there as well was some ancient Greek style heads and beautiful little baskets, there was even pumpkins. There was also an array of ornamental garden figurines and mural art that were all made using the same process.

I personally admire the fact that this is all a home based private operation based on skill and creativity, and all these garden assets were simply lovely, but my heart still votes for those old cars!
