I've managed to turn my girlfriend into a gamer
Pretty chuffed about this, and no regrets! I have been with my girlfriend for about 2.5 years now. As I write this she is currently playing GTA 5 on the PS4 for the first time and really enjoying it.
It just goes to show how good games can be these days, as she has gone from being apathetic/resistant to games to engrossed by them. It also helps that she gets a lot of exposure, as I like to enjoy a good gaming session on my ps4.
Before GTA V she completed Skyrim (that also got me back into it !), before that the latest Tomb Raider game.
When we first got together she was not by any stretch a gamer, and although she was fine with me playing she took little interest.
It took a few good games to get her interested. Other games which helped include Zelda Ocarina of TIme and Pokemon on the 3DS.
Now she's hooked, and completely understands why I love gaming so much! Its great because its yet another interest we now share, plus I can usually get away with getting new games and stuff for us to play.. e.g. PS VR! I'll post up some VR reviews in the future..

Same boat here, my wife wasn't a gamer at all (child's things those games). Now she's addicted to Assassin's Creed. She's played them all now and we have Origins on preorder for her :p
But oh my, the words that come out of her mouth when something erratic happens O_o
Haha yeah man, it's hilarious to just be chilling doing your thing and hear the odd surprised squeal here and there :D

Nice!! Been struggling to get my wife to play anything other than Worms. Got my son gaming though - a little too much now :O
