I never really considered myself an avid gamer for a long time. I did not own consoles in my own home due to parental choices and financial standings -- I still spend all my money on food, it's absurd -- but I did enjoy my fair share of gaming media. Cue my experience playing on a desktop in college, and you could say my life changed quite drastically. Now I took the time to build a mighty setup and I play Overwatch to an almost religious level. I mean I copped the beta once it was available and made the actual game purchase almost the same month!

On top of that, earlier today, I was exposed to the seamless integration of big data analytics and gaming, on a site here that delves into the ins and outs, down to how many kills, deaths, and ultimate abilities per minute.

The Big Picture

So what? Well, it suggests that with an in-depth understanding of how I play my game, I can take measured steps to improve my game as well. Things from fundamental positioning to mechanical practice, to target prioritization and impact strengthening as well. If I take a lot as my abilities as Mercy for a 3 games, solutions on how to approach my future battles can improve. Realistically, I could take a rather hands-on method to reaching a level of gameplay and maybe even stream, if my audience acknowledges it!

Season 9 Shakedown

Unhappily resting at 2497, I took a win and a loss in my recent competitive experience. We'll see if my data management moving forward can help me focus my uphill climb. I'm gleaning data for my top three utilized characters as displayed, and I'll do smaller niche segments on the other cool things I can do.

And a third just to prove my point, and demonstrate that I am really that nice. I mean if 'pics or it didn't happen' will get people to say it's Photoshop, surely you can't fake it with these plays?

I'm on the practice court, dribbln' two a day, so I don't drop the ball when it's threw my way.

Mercy

Unfortunately, since my lovely maiden of health faced many a nerf in her career, necessarily performing a highlight worthy play is a bit more demanding. I do want to highlight that as a support character, I keep three different values in the top ten percentile.

My ability to support is not to be mocked either.

I'll be updating my Overwatch dives more and more, and would earnestly like to play with some folk too, if you're as invested as I am. I'm trying to get nasty and be able to play this for money, especially if people wanna watch. Also, it doesn't hurt if I win a few more games.
