OGAME 🌌🚀✨ - Colonizing the Universe during those sleepless nights...
If you remember the good old days in online browser games world, you have probably some good memories of this game. Its addiction has pretty much the same effects as all other games; staying up all night, lying friends and family regarding the amount of time spent playing and isolation from others in order to spend more time gaming. But additionally, OGAME made its players develope a very close relationship with their alarm clock.
OGAME is an old, browser-based, MMO(massively multiplayer online) strategy game that was very popular in the beginning of 2000s. I think i started to play it in 2004 when a close friend of mine introduced me to OGAME world. This is also when my sleepless nights started. As soon as i understood the concept of the game i started to spend hours in front of my computer, and when i built my first fleet life became more difficult for me. Because i started to set alarms for moving my fleet from one planet to another.
Although there is a new game video for OGAME today, i found the old version to share with old players here. It´s simply nostalgic...

Having moon in OGAME was one of the biggest privilege among the players. Moons were special because they allow you to invisibly fleetsave where the Sensor Phalanx cannot see. Although i never managed to have one, I had countless of attempt to have it. Creating one was hard but destroying them was even harder. It requires a gigantic battle with deathstars. I think destroying one was the best experience i had in this game.
Today, OGAME is still available and there are still some players enjoying this game. I created an account to check it out before starting my post and all i can say about it today is "disappointment". It seems like a lot has changed since and you can become the strongest player if you are willing to spend some money. Unfortunately, nothing is like the way it was in the old days.

Butun bunlarin yaninda, OGAME bagimliliginin getirdigi bir aliskanlik daha var, o da calar saatiniz ile yakin bir iliski gelistirmeniz.
OGAME tarayici tabanli eski bir strateji oyunu. 2000´li yillarin basinda oldukca populerdi. Saniyorum benim bu oyunla tanismam 2004 yilina denk geliyor. Yakin bir arkadasim tanistirmasi ile basladigim oyun, OGAME oyun sistemini kavramam ile birlikte hemen bir aliskanliga donusmustu. Tabi bununla birlikte uykusuz gecirdigim geceler baslamis ve ilk filomu yapmam ile birlikte de alarm kurup gecenin bir yarisi uyanip filomu hareket ettirme zorunlulugum baslamisti.

Ay sahibi olmak OGAME oyunculari icin herzaman buyuk bir ayricalikti. Cunku aylar uzerinde kurulabilen radar binalari dusman filolari uzerinde gozetleme imkani sunuyordu. Defalarca denememe ragmen hicbir zaman ay sahibi olmayi basaramadim. Ay olusturmak zor, fakat bir ayi yok etmek daha da zordu oyunda. Bir ayi yok etmek icin olum yildizlarinin da dahil oldugu devasa buyuklukteki savaslar gerekiyordu. Ay yok etmek, benim icin bu oyunda yasadigim en zevkli deneyim olmustu.
OGAME bugun de oynanmaya devam ediyor. Yazima baslamadan once biraz incelemek amaciyla bir hesap acip goz atma firsati buldum. Oyunun bugunku durumu icin soyleyebilecegim tek kelime var o da hayalkirikligi. Oyun yapisi cok degismis gibi duruyor ve simdilerde, biraz para harcamayi goze aliyorsaniz oyundaki en guclulerden biri haline gelmeniz cok da zor degil. Ne yazikki, hicbirsey eski gunlerindeki hali ile kalmiyor.
