This year's Blizzcon is probably the worst in years. No new games were announced, we have remasters of old games and soulcrushingly bad Diablo game for, wait for it.. Smartphones! Yes, Diablo Immortal is a smartphone game! Talking about killing a long loved franchise. How and why would they ever think that was a good move is beyond my comprehension, besides making a ton of easy money there is no logic in this. They didn't stay a while and listened to the community. I feel bad for the presenter and a long time Diablo developer Wyatt Cheng who had to announce that abomination.

Not everything was a total catastrophe though, Warcraft 3 was one of my favorite games ever, and now we will have a chance to play a remastered version of Warcraft 3 called Warcraft 3 Reforged. Considering it is made in an old War3 engine this looks quite decent. I will probably try this when it gets released in 2019.

Hearhtstone is chugging along with another expansion called Rastakhan's Rumble, it is themed around Trolls and new overkill mechanic, nothing too exciting there. Overwatch doesn't interest me that much, only one new hero was announced, so nothing special there too. Heroes of the Storm will have a new hero that is not connected to any old franchise and that is it. I feel ever since Activision acquired Blizzard, things are going down the shitter for once a great gaming company.
