YAY!!! Welcome.
We begin the quest roughly 24 hours from the posting time of the sign-up page (this page).
I try to post up a new day at roughly 08:30 my time (Pacific time) each day and players make their moves over the following 24 hour period. The next update will include any moves made by the zombies (if applicable).
Player numbers 10 and 12 have not been used lately, so those are up for grabs.
Player 3 went off sick and has yet to return.
Player 4 went off sick and has yet to return.
Player 5 is in the midst of moving and is too busy to maintain their own game this week, so most likely will not be returning real soon.
Player 6 was participating sporadically and may not return.
So if you want any of those numbers, you can take one and if they do return, they will need to select a new player number.

Like you, I'm also anxious to get this game under way. I'm really curious as to how it will play out. I keep changing things so that it doesn't get stale and that means situations can happen that I never considered. It is always a relief when the game runs smoothly to the end.
