State of Mind Gameplay (PC HD)
State of Mind pc gameplay (no commentary) with an xbox controller.
The game is about
State of Mind is an adventure and action videogame that is set in a world that is torn between a dystopian reality and a virtual utopian future. The player plays Richard Nolan, a father and journalist from Berlin who discovers that he, his wife and son have suffered a burden from his mind. Richard's has gone wrong. As a result, he still lives in the real world, but an incomplete version also exists in virtual projection. The game takes us, in this way, to the year 2048, a near future that is divided between reality and virtuality with a drama that quickly plunges into the world of thriller to show all kinds of mysteries and reflect on the role of artificial intelligences, the future of humanity and virtual worlds.

My opinion after playing
If we had to think of a title similar to State of Mind that would be Detroit: Become Human; saving distances. Both have many points in common, especially as far as the script is concerned, but they are far apart from each other. The game of the Germans feels too guided, it would not have been more than our decisions throughout history served for something more than to unlock achievements. It does not matter what responsibilities we assume that the end will be practically the same.
Daedalic Entertainment has wanted to open a new frontier, a new path through which to follow during the next years, for that reason, State of Mind feels like a first contact with the short-term destiny of the developer. It is a game with a lot of potential but it stays in the attempt to have been something much bigger and round. It has left us a bittersweet taste because we feel that they have not risked everything to break the mold and have been satisfied with showing the right thing.
For lovers of interactive adventures, those whose central axis are the stories that invite reflection, they will like it even if there is some small script gap at some moments. On the other hand, those who come looking for a bit of everything, it is likely that they will not finish State of Mind because their development progresses slowly.

A pretty good duration (around 12 hours)
NEGATIVE
History has a hard time

Little worked animations
Empty world
Very few puzzles
Very varied soundtrack
