I really hate the idea of loot boxes as a whole -- even at the cosmetic level. It was nice where those things were just given out to the community back in the day -- now it's all behind a paywall.

I kind of like going vanilla in games that do use them though.

It kind of catches people off guard because you don't have anything fancy. It's just you and your skill. Sometimes people underestimate you because of your lack of flashiness which always gets a laugh out of me.
