Yeah, I love FF7 too, and I should play FF6 one day... (By the way it was called FF3 outside japan, and only the SNES version of it... PS1/GBA and every version after was called the real title.)
Haha right you are I had them reverse. FF6 in Japan. I played through FF4 and FF5 translated and neither were as good.
You should also check out Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana if you're going down the Squaresoft rabbit hole.
Already played/finished Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross... Actually I like Chrono Trigger so much that I plan on purchasing PC version to play it one day (it was bad when released but it's patched by now.)
Secret of Mana, I know it's probably a great game, but for some reason I don't want to put it in my list yet.
