Benar-benar sesuai yang dijanjikan oleh Cygames dan Platinum Games. Sang sutradara - Tetsuya Fukuhara juga yakin kalau konsep original dari versi mobile-nya akan tetap dihadirkan dalam game tersebut. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk memuaskan gamer dari kalangan platform mobile dan konsol. Proses produksinya memang cukup tong waktu, tapi Fukuhara berharap agar para fans tetap menunggu dengan sabar dan penuh antisipasi. Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link rencananya akan mulai dirilis di Jepang pada tahun 2018 mendatang dan ekslusif untuk konsol PlayStation 4 saja. Sedang saat ini belum mengumumkan apakah mereka akan membawa game tersebut ke PC atau tidak.
