Here they are, the results to last week's Amidakuji.

July 18 Amidakuji Results.jpg

This week, I'm happy to say that we had a lot of participants and pulled in a decent-sized jackpot, 18.932 SBD and 12.176 Steem. I would love to see these numbers continue to rise.

In addition to having a lot of participants this week, we also had a lot of winners--eight to be exact.

A big congratulations goes out to @rt395, @ackhoo, @fem-of-war, @darkerhorse, @kuenok, @dwhntx, @farmstead, and @alvinfang, each of whom won 2 Steem and 3 SBD.

It isn't not much, but I decided to throw in a little extra Steem and SBD to each of you because the jackpot was divided amongst so many winners and shrank considerably as a result. It's also my way of saying, Thanks for following me.

I hope you'll all join me again next week and try your luck!

Happy Steeming Everyone!

Thank you so much for sending an update on results. I did not win but it was exciting. Upvoted

Thanks for the upvote. Please play again next week.

Oh wow thanks!

Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a lucky week.

This was a great game. It actually kind of reminds me a bit of pachinko a bit though it's also quite different. I'm definitely joining next week. Thanks @boxcarblue for using such a unique method to reward your followers.

I've never quite figured out how to play pachinko. I know the basic premise is similar to this, but with all the story based game machines out there, I generally can't figure out what I'm supposed to be doing.

Check back next Tuesday for another Amidakuji.

I think the general premise is you launch a ball slightly similar to how an old pinball machine works then the ball falls downwards bouncing off a lot tiny metal pins. The player usually hopes the ball lands in certain catching spots that offer pay outs. I actually always thought it was random luck but I have read stories about professional Pachinko players before.

That is the basic premise. A lot of games these days, in Japan anyway, have stories and animations connected to them with special chances and challenges, etc. I've only tried playing a few times, but it was beyond me.

Hmmm, I'll have to add pachinko to my blog-to-do list 😎👍

It's a topic worth writing about. I haven't gone there yet because I can't stand all the smoke and noise of the big pachinko halls and also because it's not something I really understand.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the education seminar you attended. If you don't mind, send me a link once it's posted.

I'll see if there is another way to send this to you as well.

wow i won again. thanks

Congratulations! Luck is on your side.

Never heard of this game, looks like Piet Mondriaan art :))

If you want to try your luck, this week's Amidakuji is up.

It is a japanese game to e.g. decide chores. He did an article about it 3(?) month back.

That's so cool!

I've never heard of that artist before.

Here's a link to an explanation of the game, https://steemit.com/japan/@boxcarblue/gndmu-this-is-japan

Oh you should check him out, he was a Dutch painter. Very famous.

I will. Thanks. This picture reminds me of a stained glass window a little.

And thanks for bringing the curious case of Amidakuji up, you know Ami can be "friend" and dakuji is "thank you".

That's sounds like the title of a novel or a movie.

In what language does dakuji mean thank you?

I liked that movie when I saw it years ago. Is the amidakuji used in it? I'll have to rewatch it and check.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise... wonderful early start to the week! Thank you very much, @boxcarblue ! Am most grateful...

I'm glad to hear it. Enjoy the rest of your week.

You too... Have a great week ahead!! 🙂 🌼

Oh, I missed that one :(

There's always next week. Btw, I saw some Amidakuji generators online the other day. I haven't tried them out yet, though.

Easiest Steem ever! Ready to go again. And re-steemed so we can get that pot bigger next time. Thanks for doing this Box.

Thanks for the help. I try to put a new one out every other Tuesday.

Wow! What is this game? I'd like to participate the next time. :) Congrats to all the winners! :)

I'll try to remind you next week when the new one comes out.

This is very fascinating. Thanks... I'll also keep an eye out for your next post. I'd like to try my hand at it. :)

Please take some time to check out the last post on my blog. It's a bit long and simply written, but it's heartfelt and about the role of Steemit in my life and about all the people whose blogs I enjoy visiting frequently including yours.

Oh, thank you @boxcarblue. This is helpful, otherwise I might have missed it again. I'll check it out asap.

Très bon article qui est très bien fait de votre part . Merci.

I'm glad you liked it.
