Steelers take day off before starting to prepare for their rematch with the Patriots. (Jim Shorts Reports)

The Pittsburgh Steelers practice facility was quiet today as the players and coaches celebrated the birth of Martin Luther King Jr.

But tomorrow, it will be all business as they prepare to avenge their three point "loss" to the new England Patriots in week 15. ("Loss" is in quotes because, in case you forgot, touchdown receptions are no longer touchdown receptions).

Even though the Steelers took today off, they have been preparing for the rematch with the Pats since at least January 10th as evidenced here by a tweet from Steelers' safety Mike Mitchell:

Mitchell wasn't the only one focused on the task at hand. Steelers' running back Le'Veon Bell was also determined to get revenge on the Patriots and some other team. He started his preparation back on January 13th. Now that is dedication.

Bell was referring to the fact that the Patriots and some team named the Ja-g-uar-s had beat the Steelers earlier this season. One of them actually destroyed Pittsburgh 30 to 9. I can't remember which one.

Even though they took the day off, the Steelers have a fool proof way to beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship.

Step one: Build a time machine.

Step two: Go back in time and actually prepare for the playoff game with the Jacksonville Jaguars that took place on January 14th.

Step three: Have your 245 pound QB try a sneak when it is 4th and less than 1

Step four: Don't try an onside kick with 2:18 left and 2 timeouts

Step five: Shut your damn mouths and play the game.

One thing is for certain. The Pittsburgh Steelers are determined to beat the New England Patriots and advance to the Super Bowl.

Actually there is one other thing that is certain, the Steelers will have to do it on Madden 18. You see, they forgot to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday.

Steeler fans do have one hope.

Perhaps this will be parked at the Steelers' facility tomorrow.
