So the Phillies manager Gabe Kapler overthinks everything, switches pitchers like teenager switch instasnap filters, and writes a bizarre blog that includes testicle tanning.
But he officially became THE weirdest manager when he defended his alleged locker room behavior by clarifying the behavior happened on a date, not the locker room.
The story was that Kapler would lick ice cream and then spit it into a container rather than swallow it. (If anyone is actually reading this, enjoy that alley-oop).
Kapler vehemntly denied this and pointed out that it actually happened on a date and then became a locker room myth. Perhaps someone was just trying to do him a favor by changing the venue to something less bizarre than a date.
