i know they seem to be innocently not knowing which is in itself very disturbing. A high tech company that lives off of it's users data leaving gaping wholes in it's infrastructure hmm is that even possible?? i mean think about it for a second the value is in the data and they let just about anyone which is again a bot thing to just scoop up targeted users. you would imagine how many hackathons they've had and nobody ever said anything again about the data that they could access hmm ...
Oh, so VERY true and sad my Friend! In my eyes and MANY others. They choose and chose profit over the People! They sold their soul. EXTREMELY sad. Thankfully, MANY People know this. More and more each day. The greed of these companies today is very sad! It is never enough!
Sure @darsico, what a coincidence that right now they allow it again, maybe the rumors are true you know, after all they're not stupid! I mean when you see a platform based on a crypto, in which you can do the same thing that other social networks do (in a professional way btw), but making profits, you know that Fb will go down! In less than two years Steemit will have the same reach of Facebook, and fb will be in 2nd place in the world of social networks.
You see Steemit is right now like Facebook was more than 10 years ago, few people. But Steemit will reach millions and millions of users like Fb in lesssssssssss than 10Y! Obviously they are considering getting their own version which is actually very nice! In any case, I stay with Steemit, I like the platform, and here I found professionalism and diplomacy, something that in other social networks I will NEVER find. :)

facebook originated in the bedroom of a cosy house with a wealthy family where a spotty teen , socially awkward, programmed a messenger so people in-house could communicate without talking to each other if i'm not mistaken ...
it was bound to happen , if the morganites and sachs adopt it, wallstreet gets banca going no way in hell they can stay behind, the question still remains what this means for steem, i see the sbd price is back up to $1.27 though ...
yes it's all recovering big thank you to the gods of crypto, can't wait to see the banca graph for august. It's very disheartening when you send 5 SBD for a vote and get a 6.50$ upvote and then watch it slowly shrink to 4.25$, so i have to limit my scope to my own votes for the time being. The object being to make more coins not throw them to the wind and i have noticed now that some bots will even limit their upvotes to 10% maximum payout, i guess i don't have to tell you which one's will go outta business first LOL:))
@darsico I really hope Steemit overpasses Facebook. My dislike for FB has grown heavily over the past couple of years and then when a friend of mine told me I could get paid to blog (after the fact he found out I was already blogging), he sent me to steemit. The best advice anyone has given me in a long time. I've already learned so much from a short time on here and I only have FB around now for photos and to keep up with relatives and high school friends. I love the drama-free feel of steemit and the more professionalism of the posts I see.
oh i wouldn't think about that, but Facebook could become the worlds largest exchange built into your Facebook account and security is not exactly what they are best known for. But then everyone could buy/sell/advertise with coins. i'm sure enough to bet well hear from Google shortly about another huge investment initiative. they try to out do each other, then shortly after that Microsoft Windows will come with a Microsoft Wallet and then Apple wallet also probably do the same ... but you Have noticed that Steemit is more of a modern online newspaper scenario with a sports,games,cartoon, etc... sections of interest and all. very different from the personal pages of Facebook with a family pic every now and then but 98% of the material posted on Facebook is the same video from YouTube or picture with little or no explanation over and over again.
Exactly @darsico! I've noticed that I enjoy the content on Steemit much better than that of Google+, FB and Twitter, although I do miss playing my hashtag games on Twitter! :) haha

Face Book is done. I can't see them coming back from all of the lies and deceit. When Steem hits $10 Face Book will be a thing of the past.
