Waking up sucks as an adult

Do you talk to yourself in the morning like a parent would. I don't know if it's from years of being a kid that wouldn't get up in the morning without my parents yelling at me. Maybe it's because I'm a parent and I have to do the same thing now. Whatever it is I can't wake up without negotiating with myself. I'll tell myself I'll get up in 5 min I just need to wake up my mind first. OK 10 minutes and I'll take a faster shower. Ok 15 minutes and I'll just not iron my clothes. Finally you start to yell at yourself. If you don't nobody cares if you do. Unless your on child suppor or alimony , in that case you could get a wake-up from your ex.
