Cool, I guess every little bit helps. A large chunk of my followers are bots, which I don't actually understand the purpose of but it makes my numbers look a little better.

For sure! Bit by bit is the only way to look at it if you are into organic growth. Also building connection for me comes from all over the place. I found you in the #payitforward. Then found this blog, which will lead to more clicks.
I pay the bots no mind. I don't use any (except dustsweeper) but am finding that some like gentlebot are pretty nice.
