Fungi Friday - ceps

ok, as I have a little holidays and dont go to my office everyday, i've lost the days counter.. a bit... almost forgot its fungi friday today! but at the last minute some friendly post have triggered alarm signal, and here we are. I prepared the pic of (perhaps) the biggest cep in my life.
You may ask me, wasnt it already eaten by worms and beaten by moths? no! as you can see on the 1st pic, it was hard to find, the worms didnt succeeded... joking; the fact is, this mushroom had a stone ground beneath its feet (granite, as on the last photo), which is not suitable for worms. so, it just safely reached its maximum size/age, not being bothered or damaged, we have found it in best form and decorated with it our soupie. oh, and the god-blessed-location: one of the little islands across the Ladoga lake, again.
Nice king bolete, last year i found an all white bolete that didn't stain any color after cutting. I still have'nt figured out its exact name.
