Backers / Supporters

Backers are those who make donations to a project in either cryptocurrency or fiat.

Supporters are those who support a project by sending hearts (in other words, upvoting a project).

How Can I Donate?
When you are on a project page, look to the right sidebar, and you will be able to donate by entering an amount in this box. (See picture below)

After entering the correct amount for your chosen donation, you will be given options to donate with Steem or other currencies (see picture below). Once you have donated in this way, you will be a project Backer.

If you want to be a Supporter, you can go to the Free Support section in the right sidebar (see picture below), and choose the percentage of your upvote (from 1-100) you would like to use to send hearts to this project. (You will see the number of hearts you are able to send, respective to your own heartpower.)

What do Backers Get in Return?

While donations and support could be given without expecting anything in return, we do things a little differently at Fundition. For each and every gift (no matter how small), Backers gain heartpower Rewards based on the amount they have given. Depending on the project, Founders also give additional Rewards based on the number of hearts given.
