At Fundition, one thing we do differently than the other crowdfunding platforms is that we have named the project creator the “Founder” of that project. That is an aspirational title, because we believe that all project creators are entrepreneurs.

Where to start?

To start writing a project, please click on “New Project”.
From there you can start to lay out your idea.

How to add pictures or videos?

You will be able to upload pictures by clicking on the icon indicated in purple above. You will have two options: the first one is to select a file from your device; the second one is to copy/paste a URL.

In order to add a video, click on the “link” icon next to the pictures icon. You will be able to copy/paste a URL.

How long can a project last?

There are no limits to the timing of your campaign; you can end it at any moment.

A post on Fundition (which is in the Steem app ecosystem) may receive hearts (upvotes) for seven days. After that, the post cannot receive any more funds. However, thanks to our update system on Fundition, a project can have a longer life span, therefore making the campaign last as long as you want.

How can I make updates to my project?

You can directly update from the Fundition platform, under the news page.

Do the earnings from the update also count towards the goal of the project?

The earnings from the update posts will also be included in the reaching of the goal.

Do I have to update my Project every 7 days to get to my goal?

It depends on your goal. You can get to your goal even in less than 7 days, but if after 7 days you haven’t reach your goal yet, it is recommended to update so that you will be able to reach the goals that you set. You can make as much as updates as you want until you achieve all the mentioned goals.
