Flood Relief in South Indian state of Kerala - Update 30 - 01/Oct/2018
Dear Steemians,
This is the 30th update post for the Fundition.io project I have created with regards to the fundraising for flood relief activities in the form of the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in the South Indian State of Kerala.

Updates for last full week:
Due to the Hardfork 20 update, we couldn't have much updates for the last one week and here I am with some of the details Kerala has proposed or undergone in this one week's time.
Kerala government in it's latest attempt to raise funds for re-building Kerala, has sought help from World Bank and Asian Development Bank to lend a loan of 15900 Crore Indian Rupees.
The state Chief Minister also had a discussion with Indian Prime Minister and proposed to release funds of 5000 Crore Indian Rupees and he updated that, PM's response was positive.
The Indian Meteorological department has given updates that, Kerala and other South Indian states are likely to have very heavy rain from October 4 onward.
A 1000 Crore Indian Rupees worth tender has been put out by Kerala Government for repairing the flood affected roads till Sabarimala and has put a deadline for completion as 31st October to allow the pilgrims of Sabarimala who will start coming in from November first week.
The donations and charity works continue for the flood victims as the Singaporean Red Cross society in collaboration with Kerala people working in Singapore, have raised 2.5 Crore Indian Rupees.
A team of 100 Australians visited Kerala as part of Australian World Orchestra tour and the team had backwater cruise in Alappuza.

The project has received 778$ 802$ out of the designated goal of 1500$.

It is really hard to try to bring bring everything in order after the previous flood but the weather brings another rain and danger of flood on the top of it. It must be difficult for government to get support of banks too, because of the amount of loan. It is great to hear that there Red Cross does what it can, this is one of the major organization well established and has a good reputation. I hope people keep supporting your initiative and hopefully it will give some support for those in affected areas.
Yes, there was flood, then most of the rivers dried up and now there is rain again.
Kerala government is trying all the options to gather support to re-build Kerala and it's appreciative that, the Indian government, many other countries, World Bank, Asian Development Bank have given positive signs of releasing more funds and even the people within India have contributed generously.
Let's all hope for the best, this project is being largely supported by @fundition and there are donations from Steemians along with their upvotes.

Well, actually, I was on the Github page for KeralaRescue.in when it was in initial development stage and keralarescue.in itself was the inspiration for me to start this @fundition project as I am a Fundition Indian ambassador.
