Went to campaign, South African president disrupted the plan - remained stuck for four hours on the train (Video)

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa may have hoped that joining the morning travelers would place him as a people of the people before the May elections.

But this plan probably did not go as planned.

This is because, according to foreign media, the Telegraph conveyed, he and the other passengers were stuck on a train for four hours, on a trip that should have only taken about 45 minutes.

"It is unacceptable," President Ramaphosa said after the train reached its destination.

He said the national railway operator, the South African Passenger Rail Agency (Prasa), had to work to improve the situation "otherwise someone will be discharged".

Otherwise, train delays are a daily disappointment for millions of South African railroad users and some have lost jobs due to late arrivals at work, says the BBC's Milton Nkosi in Johannesburg.
