Those who love traditional whole foods will eat up the posts at the Paleo-Trial

Not to take anything away from the Food-Trail, because they do a great job on a wider range of foods and methods that might not quite fit into range of diets we cover. We tend to avoid the grains and other products of industrialized Agriculture, preferring the fresher foods that can be had in an unpreprocessed state and prepared at home. This excludes most grains, beans, and vegetable oils. Fruits and nuts are allowed, but often minimized, and always less processed.

As you might imagine, this seems somewhat restrictive at first. Until you start using the whole range of foods that most standard diets avoid, it will seem that way. Which is a large part of our goal. We want to encourage writers to share their kitchen secrets that make their Paleo-style diets more diverse, flavorful and welcoming.

Because even a small amount of returning to traditional, unprocessed foods will have a direct effect on anyone's health. This is the effect felt when people go from mainstream diets to vegetarian, or from the American Diet to the Mediterranean Diet. We know our authors can help you make the improvements you want, we hope we can support and encourage them to do so.

I wish I could read the stories in his own language because they must be even more wonderful.

Even with the problems in translation you can feel the love of a son for his mother in this gem.
