Hit Pause

If I were a computer I would be happily buzzing.
I felt excited with every keystroke and continued tirelessly. That is if there is no power outage and the user doesn't tip his cup of coffee over me.

If I were a computer I would be the light in the darkness.
At the push of a button I flash on and I complete every search without my eyes watering from searching and reading through the encyclopedia plus I would never suffer from a headache either.

If I were a computer, I would use the most modern technology and outsource the heavy work to AI, so I won't overheat because of the heavy task asked of me.

If I were a computer you might buy me at the Mediamarkt because they say "I'm not crazy" which you are if you do so since my motherboard is bad, not to mention my lack of memory.

If I were a computer, my fate would be in your hands, with the push of a button you would silence me and throw me aside for a newer, faster variant.

It's a good thing I'm not a computer, although I'm used to heavy tasks and hard work since a computer always gets the short straw.

But at times I do think: why don't I have a reset, escape or pause button, why is it I can't be switched off at least a computer has a break.
People always tell me to hit pause and if not pull the handbrake, but the truth is in reality, I don't have time to do so.
