Okay there are two things of importance.

1. Voting CSI
   
   You must always try to keep your Voting CSI above 5% as it is a criteria for most of the curators. Also, stay away from self-voting.
   How do you do that? By voting on the posts of your fellow Steemians… regularly.

2. Voting power

Every time you vote your power goes down. Now if you let it go too low you will be voting at very low percentage or even with 0. Why vote for your fellow Steemians if it is not worth something? That’s why the perfect scenario is to keep it between 80 and 100%
