I got an unpleasant surprise when I got home tonight! As I walked up to my front door, the neighborhood cat was leering at me wondering why there was no food in his bowl. I've been feeding this ungrateful little bastard for over a year now, and he still bites and scratches me. The other night while I was unlocking my door he swiped at my ankle, I didn't have any socks on so I felt claws, but no blood. I even bought an extended day cat feeder because I'm never home over the weekends, I stay at Debbie's. I feel sorry for him because I don't think he has a home and it's gonna be getting cold soon. I call him Smokey but I'm not even sure if it's a boy. He did start rubbing up against my legs recently, but that's probably his way of sizing me up just in case he has to eat my face. 😾
