When I did my 31 plus years at the post office in San Antonio Texas I had some great bosses, but I only had one awful boss. Her name was Cathy! She was a pretty woman, so she got away with murder. My first stint with her was when I was the supply clerk for the local business. She took over as acting Customer Relations manager and never did a damn thing. First she ran off her secretary by piling all her work on her. Then when nobody would work for her, she ran off me because I wouldn't do her fucking job. I left an 8 to 5 job with weekends off, to a 7 to 3:30 job with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Then towards the end of my career, when I was working the loose in the mail section. That bitch became my boss once again. Grievance upon grievance from all her employees, couldn't get her out of her Consumer Affairs manager position. Again I leave my 8 to 5 weekends off position, and bid into a 11:30 at night to 10am four day work week position. When she saw I was leaving, she pulled me into her office and said, "I can't believe you're going back to working nights!" I stood up and said, "I just can't work for you, you're worthless!" After I retired, she was being investigated for workplace harassment and I was called in to give a statement about her work habits and employee interaction. I told the truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God. She's gone now!
