Today was Father's Day and I had to wish my daddy a Happy Father's Day in heaven. He passed away in 1992 at the young age of 82. I think about him daily and wish we could have grown old together, because he showed no signs of caducity. Not to say that senility or Alzheimer's doesn't run in our family, actually my aunt in Italy is going through it now, at age 87. My mamma was sharp as a tack at 92, when she passed in 2013. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and I can't imagine the amount of care that love one's must provide directly and through a health care facility. I find out weekly that my friends are dealing with this crippling disease.

Happy thoughts going your way this Monday. I hope your weekend was nice and I'm sorry to hear your aunt has alzheimers. I knew someone who slipped into that world and it's hard on family to watch.
