The Adventures Of Tommy (The Tomato Sauce Bottle)

One day, in England, a tomato sauce bottle wanted to go on an adventure. His ancestors were kept in the cupboard, but Tommy was always kept in the fridge, where it is far too cold.

Tommy was annoyed, so he decided to run off in the afternoon.

Later that evening, the family of the house decided that they would make burger and chips for supper. However, there was horror when they realised that the tomato sauce was gone.

They knew that they needed a plan. Otherwise, they would have to consider throwing out their supper. Without tomato sauce, there can be no meal.

However, this was not a concern for Tommy. He was interested in travelling as far and wide as he could.

He made it the front gate and continued down the street. Tommy saw another bottle walking around.

“Who are you?” asked Tommy. “Where are you going?”

“My name is Olivia."

“.......and what do you do, Olivia?” asked Tommy.

“I do Olive Oil. I got bored being in the cupboard. What do you do?”

“Tomato Ketchup,” said Tommy.

“You are in trouble then,” said Olivia. “Nobody eats anything without Tomato Ketchup. You need to run quickly, they will find you.”

Tommy decided that he had better run. He ran as fast as he could, until he got very tired. He stopped to gain his breath. Then he heard a door open.

“What is this tomato sauce bottle doing here?” said a man with white overalls. He picked up the bottle and walked into the restaurant. He placed the Ketchup bottle on a table.

5 minutes later, that table was taken by a family from New Zealand, the other side of the world.

“Tomato Ketchup,” said the father of the family. “Lets sneak this one out. We'll take it home.”

A week later, Tommy was in New Zealand. After deciding to leave the house in England, he had made it to the other side of the world. Quite an achievement.

This left a very hungry family in England. The burgers were eventually thrown away.

“Let's go for curry.”
