Sometimes you want to take the world and fly away. Or just take the plane to go .....

Well so did the flight attendent, May-Britt, it was her work. The work she dreamed about ever since she was little. Today she just woke up to go to Schiphol, it is 5:46 a.m. She left her house at 6.30 and arrived at schiphol airport at 7:47 a.m. She is a KLM stewardess. It was an bright early morning When she rode up the escalator to the main part of the airport where the ticket counter was.

She immediately noticed an extremely long line at the ticket counter and thought to herself, “Thank god I don’t have to stand in that line!” She walked through the main hall, leaving all these people behind and heard the sweetest, broken and most frantic voice. It was like the sound of a lost angel looking for directions.

Flight attendants are trained to hear fear.
She was right. There she was. Really sweet but old. Her name was Joan. She was shaking so much she had to grab May-Britts hand. She asked May-Britt if she happened to work for KLM and she said, “Yes, ma’am, I do.” She said, “Oh, can you please help me?” May-Britt knew if She stopped to help Joan she was probably going to miss her own workflight, but She told herself not to lose sight of what was important. Being helpfull and serving is one off the first things you learn in the training.

She walked over to a manual kiosk machine with Joan and asked if she had her confirmation email. She was shaking so much out of worry, she couldn’t even read her phone, so may-Britt took it from her and told her not to be afraid. Then joan started crying. When May-Britt typed in her confirmation number it didn’t work. They tried it again. Nothing. May-Britt told her she was going to try and check her in by her own phone, online to see if that would work. BINGO! And it did. But then what? The printed version of her boarding pass from the phone, and the confirmation number still wouldn’t work on the kiosk. May-Britt couldn’t just give her the phone to go through security because she needed it for the boarding pass. And swap phones well not an option.
She tried to download the KLM app on the other phone, but Joan couldn’t remember her Apple ID password so it wouldn’t download. So May-Britt had another idea. She decided to put her own phone number into the phone, send the boarding pass through mobile, and then send it to Joan.
They FINALLY GOT IT. At that point, it was 8:08.
Joans flight was at 8:27, and May-Britts was at 8:30.

She watched Joan walk to the security line a bit sad and she thought , “I don’t think that is going to work in time,” so she went up to a security officer and said, “Look. I know this is a stretch, but that woman is my friend Joan, and it would be awesome if she could come to the front of the line.” She is late because she got lost. And put her most lively smile behind that request. The officer kindly escorted Joan to the front. She was teary-eyed and hugged me and kissed May-Britts face. Luckily they both made their flights.

Being Nice costs nothing just maybe some off your precious time. Let All invest in eachother.
