There is more to it with working well with others than getting paid well. I remember taking a job that was well paid but my manager did not have a care in the world as to what his employees were doing. Not motivational or a role model to look up to. I quit and looked for another job.

We admire the people who do things well because they are few and far. Thanks for the story, reminds me to be grateful for what I have.
