Garden Experiment: Pear Squash (AKA Chayote)
First year I’m growing #pearsquash
- I can already see this is going to be such a beatiful plant.
On top of that, it’s one of the most versatile plants in the garden: everything about it can be eaten: the fruits, the young leaves and even the roots can be used as an alternative for potatoes.
I think I’m in love 💜🌱

I really liked planting or gardening, in Philippines during my free time I really looked any flowers or vegetable that can be planted in my garden.
So am I :0)
I prefer the not-so-ordinary plants - the ones that are pretty rare here in Belgium :0)

Wow I didn't know every part of it was edible! You can probably even eat the flowers. My parents grew up eating the large orange flowers of pumpkins in a quesadilla
I tried it and it's not bad!
We call it "buah jepang"
