Media Condemns Julian Assange For Reckless Exposure Of How They Could Be Spending Their Time

Chris Anderson: Julian, welcome. It's been reported that WikiLeaks, your baby, has, in the last few years has released more classified documents than the rest of the world's media combined. Can that possibly be true?
Julian Assange: Yeah, can it possibly be true? It's a worry -- isn't it? -- that the rest of the world's media is doing such a bad job that a little group of activists is able to release more of that type of information than the rest of the world press combined.
There are people who still think Assange is a pedophile because a CIA operative, FBI consultant (and UVa grad) called him one on CNN. People who assured us that there were WMDs in Iraq, that Bitcoin was bullshit and other lies of the Corporate-Intelligence State are also lecturing us on the guy their bosses just busted. I'm not going to change any minds but we all get snookered with more frequency than we're comfortable fessing up to. Me, you, all of us.
That's pretty funny that everyone is so ready to believe it when he is called a pedo, but when Elon calls the diver (who I think is trapped himself now) one, everyone doesn't believe him. You don't think after he openly mocks Elon's plan to help, that Elon doesn't have the resources to dig up as much dirt as possible on the guy? Anyway, that is pretty funny that the mass media has dropped the ball so horrendously.
Assange should not have been taken off asylum. That's a very dangerous precedent.

I really wonder what's going to happen to him. It's crazy how people like Assange and Snowden are viewed as criminals (by some - mostly governments and large corporations) rather than as heros. It's a shame

I still dont really get why he was taken off asylum? Is it Ecuador working with Western governments or what?
