Cop watcher unjustly arrested at his workplace by the FBI! Why the city of Portland should leave the JTTF Joint Terrorism Taskforce.

The City of Portland Oregon has had a long and arduous relationship with the joint terrorism task force. Despite vehement protests from dozens of activist organizations and concerned citizens groups Our City has joined, opted to abandon the JTTF only to rejoined the secretive government organization once again. Even in the face of massive public outcry and concern that this Federal monstrosity that was originally conceived of in the guise of fighting terrorism would in fact be used against the local activist community. Community concerns were recently confirmed when activist cop watcher Chris Ponte was confronted at his place of work by FBI agents in suits taking him into custody over a legal matter that could've easily been taken care of by uniformed Portland police bureau officers. Film the Police Portland denounces this repugnant miss use of a law-enforcement apparatus meant to Combat Terrorism. Chris was later interrogated about photographs that appeared in his Facebook account. So yes, we have the FBI going through local activist Facebook accounts looking for reasons to arrest them with federal warrants. The very next day Chris Ponte was released by a judge and the FBI now has a time limit to actually bring an indictment with real evidence that Chris allegedly committed a crime. I would be remiss if I wouldn't say a few words about the circumstances that allowed our City Government and the FBI to browbeat and manipulate the people of Portland into re-joining the JTTF.
Muhamed Osmond Muhamed a naïve teenage boy was fostered and groomed by the FBI for more than a year to take part in a "terrorist plot" that was in actuality planned and funded by themselves! Back in January 2011 I attended a public meeting speaking my mind about the people of Portland allowing themselves to be sucked back into this monstrosity.
