Gothenburg today with a new Monday
Today the sun is shining again in Gothenburg. It feels much easier after a week of rain and debris.
Big events are waiting in the UK during the week. The worst week in a long time, when Therresa May will try to get through three polls. It is about Parliament's votes on brexit. This will take place on 12, 13 and 14 March.
Donald Trump doesn't give up on the wall to Mexico. Now he has requested an additional 80 billion. On the world stock market, it is still uncertain after the fourth quarter's decline in 2018. The turbulence clouds are many, but the US trade conflict with China, the commercial boycott of Iran and of course the wall against Mexico are things that can pour gravel in the American growth engine.
Today's pictures are a continuation of the theme of Gothenburg's urban appearance which can be described as inexhaustible. This is the twenty-first post with this theme.
Idag skiner solen åter i Göteborg. Det känns betydligt lättare efter en vecka med regn och rusk.
Stora händelser är att vänta i Storbritannien under veckan. Den värsta veckan på länge, när Theresa May ska försöka få igenom tre omröstningar. Det handlar om parlamentets omröstningar om brexit. Detta sker den 12, 13 och 14 mars.
Donald Trump ger sig inte om muren till Mexico. Nu har han begärt ytterligare 80 miljarder. På världens aktiemarknader är det fortfarande ovisst efter fjärde kvartalets nedgång 2018. Orosmolnen är många men USA´s handelskonflikt med Kina, handelsbojkotten av Iran och givetvis muren mot Mexico är sådant som kan hälla grus i den amerikanska tillväxtmotorn.
