FoxTales # 15 - The Fox Fairy’s Spa Day

Nine-tailed fox fairies have existed since the beginning of time and they always take the form of only the most beautiful of humans when visiting the mortal realm. Today was no different as Magnus, the youngest son of the Fox King, helped his sister SuLin get out of their car.
“ This is the Spa where the Fountain of Everlasting Beauty is built ? “ SuLin asked, peering at the quiet and rather plain building in front of her.
“Don’t worry, I have checked with them and this is the address I keyed in using Waze. Even without magical powers we can’t possibly be lost, could we?” Magnus wondered if he could have messed up the address.
Suddenly the large oak doors creaked open with a sigh and strange silvery beams of light shone through the door.
“ How very strange!” SuLin yelped in surprise, “But so oddly familiar” her voice trailed off as she and Magnus seemed to float upon the silver beams of light.
SuLin felt safe and Fox tail fluffy, where was this wonderful light carrying them?
She reached out her hand only to feel the cool cold mist-like surface of the water. Her eyes opened and she gasped.
Both of them were floating upside down, suspended in a white weightless liquid flowing across the ceiling of a huge room the colour of a cloudy day.
Magnus felt that despite how odd the whole situation was, he really hadn’t felt this wonderful in the last 10 000 Years. This was the best magical spa ever!
SuLin grinned and submerged her face back into the cool liquid. It felt like a million little tiny hands were caressing her face.
In the distance she could see two handsome elves with silvery blond hair come silently into the room. She closed her eyes and let the entire experience engulf her very being.How glad she was that her mother the Fox Queen had decided to give the very rare Magical Beauty Spa Ritual Treatment to her as a birthday present. Best of all she could share it with her favourite brother, Magnus. What a wonderful way to spend her birthday. She let out a happy little sigh and let the handsome elf magically massage her with invisible hands that felt like God himself had decided to join in the fun.
