Presidential advisor: “Russia has all chances to become a world capital of mining ”

Russian presidential advisor for Internet development German Klimenko suggests that Russia could become a world mining center.

His observations are based on the fact that Russian Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Association has accepted more than 40 requests for the arrangement of mining businesses during the last months. Klimenko posted this information on his own telegram channel.

“Russia has all chances to become a world capital of mining ”, he wrote.

The requests were coming from the existing companies and individuals, mostly residents of Europe and China, he added.

“Although, that’s not our responsibility to register this type of requests, businesses from Europe and other countries frequently address us”, — commented Director of RBCA Arseniy Shelcin.

According to his words, live interest could be explained by the fact, that the prices for energy consumption in Russia are relevantly low.

“Few hundreds of miners, that’s how much they want to install, on the average, ”—concretized Shelcin.
