AFC Asian Cup final tomorrow

It is time for the AFC Asian Cup final tomorrow. On February 1st one month of football will end for Qatar and Japan, but I believe both nations are really happy with what they have managed so far!

Before the start of the tournament, as someone also commented to a post I made here earlier, most of us expected nations such as South-Korea, Iran, and Australia to win the tournament. After all, Australia won the last Asian Cup, Iran has the best FIFA ranking among the teams taking part, and South-Korea has Son Heong-min in their squad. Unfortunately for them, neither of these factors helped them get to the final, and instead it will be a nice match between Qatar and Japan.

What makes it so interesting is that both Japan and Qatar had easy matches in the semi-final. Qatar won 4-0 against the United Arab Emirates, while Japan won 3-0 against Iran. Maybe we will get a firework of a match tomorrow as well?

I am not sure, but it will be interesting to see!

And I have to laugh - because I believe most Spurs fans worldwide are really happy about how South-Korea dropped out of the tournament already in the quarter-final. Thanks to that, Son Heong-min could play for Tottenham yesterday against Watford, and at once he scored a very important goal for Tottenham that helped them get all three points with them from that match.
