SSB from Aceh Represent Indonesia in International Championship
Governor of Aceh, dr. H. Zaini Abdullah, hoping one Football School (SSB) of Aceh could be the best national team so that it can represent Indonesia in the event the football world 12 years of age in the United States in December.
"We (SSB from Lhokseumawe) ever national record of achievement in 2012. This year we expect a team from Aceh who returned to win at the national level," said Governor Zaini in a speech read by Assistant II Secretariat of Aceh Syaiba Ibrahim, during the opening of the competition Danone Nations Cup Football 2017 Regional Aceh, Friday (03/24/2017) night.
In 2012, SSB from Kota Lhokseumawe won the Danone Nations Cup and represent Indonesia in the international championship in Poland.
"We expect this year's achievements could return us to achieve," said the governor. Football talent Aceh, said the governor, is in the hands of children age 12 that year. Therefore, the governor requested that in future games, players can play the game with sportsmanship.
To note, the Aceh Regional DNC in 2017, followed by 48 teams from 18 districts and cities in Aceh. A total of 576 players will be involved in the game for two days.
"We've screaning tests to recruit players 11-12 years old. It also includes medical screening through dental examinations, "said Muhammad Amsar, Coordinator Danone Aceh.
Amsar mention, champions-elect will represent Aceh compete at the national level in July. If you win, they will represent Indonesia to play at the 2017 Danone Nations Cup in the United States.
