Tonight is going to be a much different affair than last night.
Blackburn had a poor season last time around, only managing a 15th placed finish in the Championship and this will be a great challenge for them if they have any promotion aspirations this year but they've already lost two pre-season friendlies as there preparation continues for their opening game on August 7th.
Leeds will no doubt be without Kalvin Phillips who is just back from holiday after his superb performance with England in the Euros but it could be a first look at our biggest summer signing, Dominican defender, Junior Firpo who we bought from Barcelona.
A recent edition from Chelsea, Lewis Bate may be another who gets a run out tonight as a number of other first team players who were at the Euros will surely be eased back in after their endeavours this summer but expect to see at least one or two of them being introduced from the subs bench.
I'm expecting a strong squad to be at Ewoood Park tonight with no great surprises but it will be interesting to which, if any of the U23 squad are travelling with the first team.
No doubt this is a Leeds win, but by how many?
