Manchester City files complaint against referee after loss to Liverpool.

After loosing to Liverpool 3-1 on Sunday at Anfield, Manchester City have filed an official complaint against referee, Michael Oliver.

Pep's anger was really visible synthetic end of the match where his team lost to the Reds.
The aggrieved club has sent a letter to Mike Riley, the general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), against referee Michael Oliver for his performance in the game.
Recall that, Pep Guardiola and a number of City players were clearly furious with the officiating during the huge clash at the top of the Premier League table, which the Reds won 3-1.
There were some talking points that needed addressing and seeing that these where not handled, fans and players alike are furious and they have not stopped protesting.
The failure to award a penalty to City when the ball clearly hit Trent Alexander-Arnold’s arm in the penalty box in the first 10 minutes of the contest.
And as some City players complained to Oliver, Liverpool went down the other end of the pitch and scored 22 seconds later, really rubbing salt into the wounds.
There was another potential handball not given against Alexander-Arnold later in the match.
And the time Sadio Mane pushed over Raheem Sterling in the penalty area in the second half.- Source.

My Thoughts.

I don't really know what will come out of this complaint because, the games have been played and winner announced, but I am sure they may penalize Oliver for his poor judgement.
VAR has become really disappointing as there seems to be a decline in sound judgement when used. There is replay that can be used to determine what went wrong and who did what wrongly and I don't get why, the referee had to play blind.
Manchester City was dealt a bad hand from what I can see. It is also really surprising that, Liverpool got away with these charges and won on top of that.
Question now is, was Oliver on the Reds payroll or was it just plain bad judgement call?
Do you think Manchester City was robbed of their chances to win?
