The games this weekend went as expected. All four home teams won, setting up some interesting match-ups for the divisional playoffs.

On Saturday, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Detroit Lions, 26-6. The Oakland Raiders were on the road at the Houston Texans and lost the game, 27-14. Seattle will move on to play the Falcons in Atlanta and the Texans will visit the New England Patriots this Saturday.

Yesterday, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Miami Dolphins, 30-12. Later in the evening, the Green Bay Packers beat the New York Giants, 38-13. The Steelers will be heading to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs next Sunday and the Packers will go to Dallas to face the Cowboys.

I’ll have previews for these games on Thursday for the weekly playoff Free-For-All post. For now, let’s take a look at this week’s contest results!

Rewards, Winners, and Payouts

We had a total of 32 contestants for the NFL Wild Card Free-For-All contest. The totals earned from Thursday’s post were 62.38 SD and 212.802 STEEM. I sold the SD for STEEM at a price of ~$0.15 per STEEM and received 411.106 STEEM, bringing the total to 623.908.

I removed 23.908 from the pot to carry over for the Super Bowl week.

The payout for each of the five statistical categories was 120 STEEM. These were the final stats and the winners for each category:

Thanks to everyone for participating!

We had 32 contestants and eight different winners this week – so 25% of contestants were able to earn rewards for their selections. The winning payouts for this week were valued at approximately $18, $9, and $4.50.

The season is winding down, but things will be heating up in the final four weeks!

Wow, your game is getting more and more serious, the pot is getting really interesting! Good for you all, have fun, good luck to you all too and namaste :)

You're welcome. Congratulations!

Are you actually going for Alabama in tonight's championship game? Or were you just choosing the likely outcome?

just choosin, i'm 10,000 miles away all the way from Manila ;)

Oh, OK. Well, then I guess this is a good way to get you interested, right? Do you have ESPN?

yes, we have espn and local cable providers

Thanks for all the steem!

Thanks for frequently supporting me and participating. I hope you've enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for running this. I had a lot of fun rooting for these stats this weekend. It reminded me of Super Bowl Sunday. I always play several silly prop bets that day so I have odd stuff to root for. I thought it was awesome that you included total turnovers. That was a fun one to root for. I purposely picked a high number... not because I thought I was right, but because I wanted to be able to cheer every time a turnover happened. My teams didn't make the playoffs this year so I needed something to make the games more fun. This did the trick! Thanks!

You're very welcome. I'm planning to do something slightly different for the Super Bowl choices, so it should be even more fun than this one was. Plus, the pot will be growing for that contest each week until that post.

Make sure you come back again towards the end of the week for the next round! We'll have some good games to watch!

That's awesome! I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again!
