Odd thing though, growing up, that was called Shishkabob, and it was done with alternating veggies, meat, different veggie, more meat etc etc... so that each skewer for each diner had some of everything.

The best I ever had was cooked by a friend who had marinated all the ingredients THEN grilled them.
