4 Places to eat 4 different DESSERTS in TAIPEI CITY within a walkable distance.
Taiwan's heat
In this Taipei's weather, or the whole Taiwan actually. It's like 40c + all the time, really! Some sweet would be just so refreshing and good. That's why they have so much dessert places in the city. Have I told you that a block a cross the street from my hostel, got 5 different boba tea stores in just that only block LOL
Plus+ I had 2 kind local friends, Carol and Neal showed me around the city the other day and we went to these 4 different dessert places. They all were good so I figured out, again, it's a signal! A post needed for those yummy ones I went for.. Oh! It's in a walkable distance so you could totally go try all these in less than 2-4 hours depends if you're a rabbit or a turtle!

4 Taiwanese Dessert at 4 different places in Taipei City!
- Almond tofu at Summer Tree
There're soy tofu and soy milk everywhere but it's rare to find one of this Almond tofu served in almond milk with your choices of topping and sprinkled with ground almond. Ohhhhhh!!!!!!!! So good. Almost made me feel like I was eating a healthy dessert also.. is it really healthy though? I kinda think so!
These are the toppings we could choose and we went for the taro dough balls. I love taro!! A lot!!

- Old school ice-cream at 枝仔冰城-大稻埕店
From the look of the shop, I actually didn't think that it's an old school ice-cream. Glad I went with locals, they knew what they're doing! LOLOL Look at the photos on the wall. That's like their shop wayyyyyyy back then.
We got Taro, longan, and peanut flavor. Carol told me that longan flavor is just so rare nowadays. Not so many places sell it no more but when she was growing up though, it's so popular and sure a locals' fav!
Oopsy! No ice-cream pic but beautiful people eating ice-cream.. Bear with meeeee..!
Crackers wiht sugar stuff at 迪化街純正麥芽餅
Most fun thing about this place was, it's a small stand just by itself on the footpath. This uncle was doing his things happily (I guess..). We grabbed one of this crackers with black sugar stuffed in the middle. They were so afraid I would find it hard to bite as the sugar in the middle was so sticky.. I don't find it sticky at all and the taste was so good. I'm sure it's because of the BLACK sugar!
- Shaved ice at 永樂市場清粥小菜
This place is hidden on the second floor of a random old building so you'd better keep an eye open for it! This is probably best one considering the weather. You could totally find it anywhere in Taipei / Taiwan though. Shave ice is literally everywhere :D
This one is a bit special because it's a dessert shop and a handmade product shop combine so.. You could also go for some small shopping session haha.
Those two are before and after.. Wowww, we ordered Ai Yu also of course! It's my fav now :)
They dessert trip was great! and even better when you got nice company to hang out with! Thanks to these two, Carol and Neal! It was a fun and well spent day!

I've got to know you from the #travelfeed best of post couple of days ago...but I'm stunned by the quality of your posts. I'm just wondering, really just out of curiosity. Is it you only who writes it or are you a team of several people. Do you also write your other blogs on your own. Cuz I've checked ur blog and the posts you post here and there about the same stuff are different. I expected that you'd be just copy-pasting them on several platforms...but it seems you write unique post for each pltform. That's deserving pure respect from my side!

Though, I have never posted same posts on the same Steem based platforms and never the same videos on both Steem platform as well .. Because of the fact that the followers will see the exact same posts twice and it ain't make sense to me. (I sneaked a peek and saw you do. Hah yepp I've checked ur webpage...and scrolled through some posts and none were identical to the Steemit versions, which (as already mentioned) completely stunned me..Gr8 job. And yeah, posts and pics and everything are just gr8, must take a lot of time I bet.
And regarding posting to DLive, DTube same content - I've actually talked about it in my first Vlog (https://dlive.io/video/matkodurko/0c85e4a0-8605-11e8-adb2-bf4283a63cb9)....Im well aware people see the same post twice. That's the only downside and I'm well aware of it. But I (almost) always make a separate thumbnails at least, so I don't bother my followers. But as I've said in the introduction Vlog, you never know whether DLive or Dtube survives or doesn't die out as fast as they came. And with the death of the UI, your whole profile will be gone. And if you're putting a time into something, it's nice to have it visible there and hopefully have this nice "big" channel in couple of months with all ur videos...DMania was also a big boom here on Steemit and died in a day. So yeah, I;m just doubling my chances of having a bigger account on the platform which survives in the future. + I'm helping promoting both platforms as the amount of content is increased on each of them....+ obviously last but not least, the one noone talks about, are rewards. Ofcourse it increases my chance to get bigger reward from the platform account...BUT!I'm not using any voting bots, don't self upvote anything else except for my regular posts, I read others' posts and comment a lot..so I feel like a kind of polite steemian...and that's why I've decided even doing this double-upload isn't that bad...cuz although it might seem as rewards hunting (which it ofcourse is) it also helps the platforms :)
