Tunas with tomatoes and onions in the oven

We bought these fish straight from the boat that fish them and they were so fresh! We had them cleaned in the sea (a cat stole one fish!). We seasoned them, laid them in a bowl, until we cooked them at home..

Ingredients: 9 small tunas, 1 tomato which you cut in small cubes and 1 tomato which you cut in slices, 1 onion well chopped, ½ cup of olive oil, a pinch of oregano, salt and pepper

So, in a bowl, put your tomato in cubes and mix it well with the onions, a little olive oil, salt and pepper, oregano and mix them well. On a tray lay the tunas, after you have applied some olive oil on them and place 1-2 spoons of tomato-onions mix on them. You can either fill in each fish’s belly with the mixture, or make a sandwich of two fishes and the mixture in between. Sprinkle with olive oil.

Put them in the oven for 20’ in 200C. Take them out, cover with the tomato slices, sprinkle with oregano and bake for another 20’ in 200C.
