Info: This drink Is very famous here in Italy, because it is usually drink before dinner in the public during meeting with friends. It Is a soft drink and its history explains why: Veneto is an Italian region and It Is very famous in the world for the prosecco, a typical sparkling 🍾. During the Second World War Veneto was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire and there the Austrian soldiers were not familiar with this kind of wine, because It was too strong for them. So they added water to make that less strong. During the modern years barmen have changed the recipe and today the perfect mix for an awesome Spritz (also the name has something of German languages) is a 40% of wine, 30% of water and the rest is fantasy: usually Aperol.
It s my favorite drink before the dinner, because it helps to introduce the next meal. In my opinion it is great during the summer afternoons, because its ice cools me!
