A great way to keep a romance alive in your relationship is to know how to cook a couple of your partners favorite meals. I make a really good lasagna, my mom taught me. I dont know many men who dont like lasagna.

Ingredients

  • lasagna sheets,
  • grated cheese - 300 g.

For Bolognese sauce:

  • beef minced - 700-800g,
  • 5-6 peeled tomatoes or 1 can of peeled tomatoes,
  • red dry wine - 100 ml,
  • onions - 2-3 pcs,
  • garlic - 2 cloves,
  • parsley or basil greens,
  • butter – 50g,
  • vegetable oil - 4-5 tablespoons,
  • salt,
  • ground black pepper.

For Béchamel sauce:

  • milk – 1L,
  • butter - 100g,
  • flour - 100g,
  • pinch of nutmeg,
  • salt,
  • ground black pepper.

Instructions:

Preparing the Bolognese sauce:

Put the meat into the frying pan and fry over medium heat until cooked. Meanwhile, in a saucepan or a deep frying pan melt the butter together with the vegetable oil, add the onions, salt, pepper and fry until soft. Add chopped garlic clove and fry for one more minute. Get the onions with the garlic from the pan into a bowl.

Wash tomatoes, make a cross-cut and lower into boiling water for 2 minutes. Get out and put into a cold water, peel and grind tomatoes with a blender. Alternative easy way is to buy canned peeled tomatoes and process them with a blender. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Wash the greens and chop.

Add the onions and tomatoes to meat and mix. Pour in the wine and simmer (stirring) for 3 minutes. Add salt, pepper, reduce the fire to a minimum, and simmer covered the lid for 20-30 minutes. Remove the saucepan with the sauce from the fire, add chopped greens, another clove of minced garlic and mix. Cover the sauce and put aside.

Preparing the Béchamel sauce:

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add flour and mix. In small portions pour in 300ml of cold milk stirring with a wooden spatula. Stir until smooth. Gradually pour the remaining milk and mix well. Bring the sauce to a boil constantly stirring, and boil for 5 minutes over low heat (sauce should be homogeneous, without lumps). Season Béchamel sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg, to taste. Put a piece of butter (30-50 g), stir and cover the pan with a lid.

Cook the lasagna sheets in a sutable dish with salted water for about 2-3 minutes. When ready, dry the lasagna sheets on the paper towels. Put a bit of Béchamel sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Top with lasagna sheets. Then make a layer of Bolognese sauce. Top cover with Béchamel and repeat topping with the sheets of lasagna. Repeat the process until the form is filled. Put the last layer of the lasagna sheets, cover the Béchamel and cover all with grated cheese on top.

Wow, what a post! Are you Ljubodrag Simonovic? Just curious :D
Anyways, agreed on your proposal!

No, I just post his book with his kind permission. Three more parts of “Vision of future”, and the book will be complete. Then, I will write something of my own, which will have a reference to his book and his views.

Dr. Ljubodrag Simonovic is really a great mind with an incredible biography. You can see it here:
