Vegan Cookie Thins: Medicated with Platinum Banana Kush Cannabis Pulp
I never waste good plant medicine EVER. Many people don't know or realize that what's left over, after they make a cannabis infusion is still very potent. Often this cannabis pulp or sand (as I like to call it) still contains approximately 48% of the active medicinal compounds.
This is because in "home baking or in home infusing" we are only as efficient as the procedures, tools or the appliances that we are following or using. Even if every step is executed to perfection and all the conditions are spot on, home extracting is still not that efficient.
Lots of people, simply discard what is left over from their extraction process because they think the cannabis is spent or used up.
Please hear me loud and clear, if you throw this out, you are wasting almost half of the medicine that you have just spent a lot of time and resources to activate.
Do Not Waste Good Plant Material Or I Will Ground You and Take Away Your Bong Privileges.
Now that I have gotten that off my chest, let's make some cookies!
This recipe is vegan and I purposely have made them as "thins" as opposed to a thick chunky cookie. I find that being "thin" makes them more versatile. You can use them as part of other recipes where the cookie component is not the main attraction but complements a more elaborate dessert, for example.
To make these cookies, you'll need the following ingredients:
- 2 cups almonds (ground);
- 1 cup walnuts (ground);
- 1 cup desiccated unsweetened coconut (medium shred);
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds (ground);
- 1 tsp cinnamon (ground);
- 1/2 tsp baking powder;
- 1/4 tsp of Pink Himalayan salt;
- 3/4 cup of coconut oil (melted);
- 1/4 cup + 2 tsp of maple syrup;
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract;
- 3/4 cups of shaved dark chocolate;
- and 1/3 of a cup of Platinum Banana Kush cannabis pulp (or 1/3 cup of cannabis pulp from whatever strain you have on hand, at the time).
Directions:
- Grind the walnuts and almonds in a food processor.
- Add the coconut, sesame seeds, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
- Blend well.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Add the cannabis pulp (or omit entirely if you want a non-medicated vegan cookie that's thin).
- Blend well until the mixture is thoroughly combined. (I like to use a food processor for this job because it's easier to see when you have the cannabis pulp evenly dispersed through the dry ingredients. If you spend a little extra time making sure that the pulp is evenly mixed, you will end up with each cookie being equally medicated and you won't end up with some of your cookies being stronger than their batch mates. (Trust me on this folks, it can be a game of roulette cookie otherwise.)
- Add the coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Blend well.
- Add the dark chocolate shavings and blend again.
- Roll the cookie dough into a ball shape.
- Flatten each cookie with the back of a fork.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and cool on a baking rack for 30 minutes before you handle them.
There you have it! A thin vegan cookie that is completely medicated and you'd never know...until about 2 hours later.
This recipe makes 50 cookies and they freeze really well.
(Note: @knarly327 is a critical taste tester. He thought these cookies were extremely dangerous and he likes them a lot. )
Enjoy!
I welcome your comments and invite you to follow me on my journey. ;)

Oh my god that looks so delicious! I bet my neighbors would call the cops if I tried baking that around here! I live vicariously through you. Haha :p
Thanks @magick323! You need new neighbours and we might as well get you moved right into a new State, while we're at it. I'm simply not happy with where you live. LMAO!
Hahaha 😂
AHHAHAAA!!! Point taken, point taken...I am guilty of this!! *facepalm!!
Hahaha! That was my polite threat. My not so polite threat (which I cut) was to "force the drinking of skunk-ass bong water". It was early in the day when I was still feeling like a Lady. Not so much, now...Lmao!
The gloves are off! HAHA!! I love it, what an awesome burn!!!!
I would become a criminal for even thinking of your medicine, Rebecca.
Sadly I know this is still true for people in most parts of the world. :(
It is changing and when it does, just know that there will be a lot of info saved on the blockchain when the help is needed. ;)
I'll drop by for cookies when I find myself on the wrong side of the Atlantic ;-)
Anytime @funkit, anytime. :)
Thank you so much for another great recipe Rebecca
Thank you @journeyoflife!
@rebeccaryan
You are filling up my computer with saves. Another must save recipe by Rebecca.
It looks so good. And not the cups of refined sugar. Ugh on that.
Maple syrup I can live with.
Why lie. I eat it all if tempted. And I am tempted a lot.
Uh, many times a day? Yes......................
Francis
Hahaha! Thanks for commenting @francisk!
Secretly, I'm just trying to extract all the information that's in my head, while I can still remember it. LOL!
Good to know that you have a healthy "back-up" of my mind on your computer.
I'll do the same for you, my friend. ;)
I'll take your threat very seriously.
The last thing I want is my bong being taken away by @rebeccaryan haha
The look absolutely delicious and even better with the pulp.
Seems like a nice alternative to flapjacks
Hahaha @arckrai! Very good!
Yes, they are incredibly versatile and I will be building on this concept, shortly.
Stacking one medicated thing on top of another. ;)
Please don't ground me. I'll do as you say :(
Hahaha @yaan!
That's what every girl wants to hear. LMAO
YUM! vegan is the future
Thanks for commenting @cainplant!
I agree and have been in transition (myself) to a higher and higher plant based eating lifestyle as the years go on.
Fantastic recipe! Can you believe that cannabis is illegal in the state of Arizona? Medical marijuana is legal but you have to see a doctor and then pay a fee for a special card if you're granted permission to buy the medicinal herb. However, the depressant and highly addictive and health-stealing alcoholic beverages are readily available everywhere. And, diet sodas made with the toxic neurotoxin aspartame are given to children. We live in a crazy upside down world. I'll be glad when I live where cannabis/ marijuana is legal. Then, I will make your cookies!
Soon @weg, this herb will be legal for everyone to use. When it is, we will be ready, fully knowing how to integrate it into our existing recipes with ease.
Right now, I'm just trying to share sound information on the "how to"part.
We live in a world that turns based on corporate interests instead of what is best for humanity.
When you are "awake" and know the difference, it is sickening to know that profit is always being put before the welfare of the general population. What hope do kids have if they aren't shown that there is a different way to live? We don't have to accept illness and disease (as a regular feature of life) if we make the effort and it all start with educating and thinking for ourselves. :)
I agree 100%. It's important to "plant seeds of knowledge" without imposing on someone's free will. Sometimes, that's easier said than done. I will rejoice on the day cannabis is legal here. It should already be legal....
Exactly! Now I just make space for people to come to the realization that they've been duped for the last 80+ years, themselves rather than trying to beat them over the head with the truth.
Some people wake-up and others choose to keep living in fear and oppression.
The herb should be accessible for anyone that wants to use it and anyone who wants to grow it for themselves should be able to, without persecution.
aah !! looks delicious thanks for the Recipe :)
Thanks for reading and commenting @blazing! I appreciate it. :)
