We had Indian Runner Ducks for a few years. They laid a lot of eggs - but I was the only one in the family who liked them so we gave most of the eggs away.
The eggs were quite a bit bigger than our chicken eggs. I could taste a difference but I didn't mind chicken or duck eggs.
Interesting, I wonder if it's a breed thing or a diet thing. Ours eat chicken food supplemented with wheat berries because there isn't any organic waterfowl feed locally
