Have you ever wondered why music in restaurants plays so loud? This is how restaurants FOOL YOU (part 1)

You have probably noticed how some music helps you to concentrate on your work, some helps you to relax or fall asleep and some... even forces you to dance like wild? Then you should also know that restaurants play some magic tricks on you using the music too!

In restaurants, loud and fast music makes you eat and drink faster, you feel like you have to rush through your meal. By the way, did you notice how difficult is it to talk with friends when the music is so loud? Even if you like music and it improves your mood, it doesn't let you to enjoy the conversation with your friends so you want to change the atmosphere and leave sooner, even without realizing the reason! This way restaurants get new customers in your seats quicker - the faster is the flow-through, the more money they do, how rude!

But you will say that not all the restaurants play music so loud, some of them comfort you with slow classical music. It is proven that classical music makes you feel wealthier and spend more money than you usually would, unfortunately!

Some of restaurants do not play music at all. But they might have prepared something else for you. To draw you in, kick your appetite and make some money out of it, some places (especially fast-food joints) are decorated in red, orange or yellow colors. Those are known to stimulate your desire to eat! And for increasing the flow-through, restaurants make their chairs uncomfortable to sit on. You may even be offered to take a seat at the table in the middle of the room which is usually surrounded by chaos and tend to be unpleasant.
